with Casting Nets Outreach
Welcome to our website. Casting Nets Outreach is a traveling family evangelsitic team that is taking the Gospel to the streets of America. We use a variety of methods to reach the lost, such as crosswalks, street preaching, dramas, tract distribution and childrens ministry.
Having come out of a life of a commercial fishing, we saw how the lessons we learned on the water helped us overcome obstacles to following our vision for street evangelism. We use these principles to break out of our comfort zone, overcome barriers of fear and launch out into hostile waters to cast our nets.
“You cannot cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.”
He said to me, “Go to the lost, the backsldidden and to rekindle the fire of the holy spirit”

Testimonials
“I was wheeling my 10ft cross through the streets of Bangor Maine, when a young shop owner burst out into the street and said, “Hey, what are you doing?” I said that I was carrying my cross around Maine and telling people the gospel. He said, “Whats your pitch?” So I explained to him the simple gospel. Conviction fell on him and he said, “I want that for me and my family.” He prayed with me to become Jesus diciple.

“We held one of our “Rise” youth rallies in the outdoor ampitheater Houlton Maine. There was a young skateboarder who was hanging around after the event. I walked over to the bench he was sitting on and said, “You heard what I said in that message did’nt you?” He said, “Yes.” So I said, “You want to get saved then, dont you?” Again, he said, “Yes.” I was able to lead him to the Lord, give him a Bible and direct him to a local Bible teaching Church. He promised to read his Bible and attend the Church.
‘My wife Anna and I met at Bible school and shared the same vision for missions and evangelism. Anna has a powerful singing voice and has led worship in Churches for years, but never on the streets. She wanted to come out with me to do some songs on the street and preach. We headed off to Rockland and as we were putting our gear together, I could tell she was afraid. We went up into the center of town and stopped at a good spot. I said, “Get your guitar out and tune it.” It’s as if she forgot everything because of the fear and needed to be led every step. So, I said, “It’s going to be OK. Tune your guitar.” So, she did. Then I said, “Get up on that bench.” She looked at me like I was crazy. “Up there?” she exclaimed. “Yes”, I said, “get up on that bench.” Reluctantly she got up on the bench. She looked at me with a “what now” expression. “Sing!” She started out a bit sheepishly, a chorus of Majesty, singing as if apologizing for interrupting the people’s day, but slowly it changed into full voice boldness. She lost all sense of fear, and the glory of God visited us. It’s as if the heavens opened and The Spirit of God fell on that wicked city. The worship was warfare breaking the demonic hold and opening heavens light. I shook under the power of God and followed up her songs with power to thunder the Gospel. Anna has never looked back. It’s as if her voice was made for the streets.
